Actor Danny Glover attended the 91st Academy Awards on Sunday wherever the star spread out to Fox News concerning the continued push for inclusiveness in Hollywood.
Since the increase of the #MeToo and Time’s Up and #OscarsSoWhite movements, award shows like the Oscars are marked by incorporate a lot of diversity and for those who have stood against amendment to be known as out. Speaking with Fox News on the red carpet for the massive 2019 award show, when showing in films like “Killing Watson Jones,” “The previous Man & the Gun” and “Sorry to hassle You” in 2018.
The star spread out concerning his thoughts on the push for diversity and inclusion in Hollywood, noting that there’s plenty a lot of work to try to to despite all the progress that’s been created.
“Well, i believe anytime we tend to take a step we regularly take a step backward. i do not suppose we've done enough to to to acknowledge what we've to try to to not what we've done and wallowed within the glory of what we've done,” he said. “There's such a lot work to try to to. there is such a lot work to try to to in telling real stories. Real stories that amendment and reworking them.”
While Glover is clearly in favor of the changes that are created, that doesn’t essentially mean that he’s in favor of the award show scene. The actor antecedently told selection that it would be time to prevent running the show altogether.
