In our gift age of digital disruption, it makes intuitive sense that corporations would need to “fight
hearth with hearth,” using the newest and greatest technology to realize competitive advantage during a digital world. this can be imperfect thinking.Indeed, simply because digital technologies ar inflicting several of the challenges corporations face, it doesn’t mean that technology is essentially the answer to those issues.
One may be forgiven for the misperception that responding to digital disruption needs implementing or utilizing technology, as a result of it’s associate degree assumption inherent in several definitions of digital transformation. for instance, Salesforce defines digital transformation as “the method of mistreatment digital technologies to make new — or modify existing — business processes, culture, and client experiences to fulfill dynamical business and market necessities.” Citrix defines digital transformation as “the strategic adoption of digital technologies, like a digital space, to enhance processes and productivity, manage business risk, and improve client service.”
